How
does windshield repair work?
Ron’s
Windshield Repair uses the best tools on the market.
There are a lot of inferior products out there, but we use only
the best. The Glass Mechanix Power-Grip™
mounting bracket and the Power-Vac™ injectors
are my tools of choice. They do the job right the first time.
Most windshields can be repaired instead of replaced; saving you
time and money, here’s how we do it.
1.
The Power-Grip™ mounting bracket is mounted
to your windshield
2. The Power-Vac™ injector
is attached to the mounting bracket and a vacuum is applied to
the break to remove any contamination and air from the area.
3. Optically-clear resin is injected into the
break, filling the damaged area.
4. Once the entire break is filled, the repair
is cured by ultra-violet light.
5. The injector is removed and the repair is
polished.
